Bio

Josh Luckenbach is a songwriter, musician, poet, comedian, and filmmaker. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2011 with a degree in English/Poetry.

Luckenbach has self-released two solo acoustic albums, The Last Road (2009) and We Are One (2010). Both are available as free downloads. In 2005, Luckenbach was the founder of the funk-rock band Apollo, and the international online collaboration appropriately dubbed the International Tribute Band. Apollo released a self-titled demo in 2007 and an album called Kids These Days in 2008 shortly before the group disbanded.

In 2011, Luckenbach collaborated with Keaton Monger to write, direct, and produce an independent feature-length comedy movie, Cute Kitten Video (Please Watch). It is currently in post-preduction and scheduled for release in late 2012.

While at UVA, Luckenbach performed with Amuse Bouche Improv Comedy and co-founded La Petite Teet, UVA’s sketch comedy group.
